The village of Denneville, a small seaside commune in the south-western Cotentin region, is home to the 3-star campsite l’Espérance Manche. From the outset, our establishment has been a family adventure that continues to this day. Created in 1974 on two plots of mielles (sandy land of dune origin), it was initially classified as a two-star campsite with around a hundred pitches.
The fruit of a great deal of effort and time, the 3-hectare park with its 132 3-star-rated pitches now boasts a host of comfort and leisure facilities, including a heated swimming pool, playground, mini-golf course, bar-restaurant, Wifi access throughout the campsite and a newly renovated and enlarged sanitary block to meet accessibility standards for people with reduced mobility. There’s accommodation for everyone: pitches for caravans, tents or motorhomes for some, and mobile homes, bungalows, Coco-Sweat or Sahari Lodges for others.
A family atmosphere reigns at Camping l’Espérance, and it’s a pleasure to welcome our loyal customers every year, as well as new ones who come to discover the Manche department and our open-air hotel. Beautiful landscapes where nature has been deliberately preserved await you if you decide to visit this part of Normandy for a weekend or a vacation.
Away from the noise of towns and roads, the campsite is just 400 m from an immense sandy beach bordered by two harbours, including the remarkable Portbail harbour, and large protected dune massifs framing Denneville plage. This makes it an ideal destination for nature lovers looking to recharge their batteries. Children will love the entertainment on offer, and those looking for a more dynamic vacation can enjoy sand yachting, windsurfing, buggy kitesurfing, dinghy sailing or catamaran sailing, thanks to the quality facilities on offer at Côte des Isles.
