From the campsite, you’ll have easy access to the whole of the former Basse-Normandie region, including the three départements of Calvados, Manche and Orne.
La Roseraie d’Omaha campsite in Normandy
The location of the Roseraie d’Omaha campsite in Normandy is a major advantage for all our guests.
In addition to being the closest campsite to the Omaha Beach American military cemetery (5 minutes away in Colleville-sur-mer), it is also at the center of all the historic sites of the historical sites of the D-DAY of 1944.
From the campsite, you’ll have quick and easy access to the D-Day beaches. The campsite’s location is also an asset for hikers, cyclists, fishermen (sea and river) and/or beach-goers.
Calvados: the historical and cultural heart of France
- The D-Day Beaches Emblematic sites of the Second World War, these beaches are poignant places of remembrance, with dedicated museums and commemorative cemeteries.
- Bayeux: As well as its famous Bayeux Tapestry, this town boasts rich medieval architecture and the Battle of Normandy Memorial Museum.
- Honfleur: This charming fishing port, with its picturesque old harbor and narrow streets, has been a source of inspiration for artists for centuries.
- Clécy: Rolling countryside, outdoor activities such as canoeing on the Orne, and renowned climbing routes make this an ideal getaway for nature lovers and adventurers.

La Manche: Between Land and Sea
- Mont-Saint-Michel: This UNESCO World Heritage jewel, with its perched abbey, offers one of the most emblematic views in France.
